About
Rigour and warmth are not opposites.
I trained as a scientist first. That means I take measurement seriously: we set clear goals, track how you are doing, and change course when something is not working. But data never replaces the person in the room. My clients tell me sessions feel like talking with someone who is fully paying attention.
Before private practice I spent eight years in hospital and community mental health settings, working with anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and ADHD across the lifespan. That background shapes how I practice today: thorough where it matters, practical everywhere else.
What to expect
01
A plan, not just talk
Every course of therapy has explicit goals and check-ins. You will always know where we are.
02
Measured progress
Brief questionnaires track how you are doing over time, so decisions rest on more than impressions.
03
Plain language
Reports and explanations are written for you, not for other clinicians.
Ready when you are.
Most new clients are seen within two weeks. No physician referral needed.
